Hi, welcome to my website! I am an Assistant Professor of Strategy, Organization and Management at the Aalborg University Business School.
I received my PhD in Macro Organizational Behavior from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Prior to Stanford, I received a master's from the University of Oxford and a bachelor's from the University of Pennsylvania, both in Sociology. I am originally from Daegu, South Korea.
My research is driven by questions at the intersection of entrepreneurship and labor markets. Using proprietary data from a large online hiring platform, my recent work studies why job seekers apply to startups even though these firms are young and unknown.
